Privacy Policy
How Chezzz BI Hub collects, uses, stores and protects your information.
Version 2026-08-11 · Effective 2026-08-11 · Last updated 2026-08-11
Trust is earned through transparency. This policy explains — in simple, professional language — what we collect, why we collect it, how it is protected, how long we keep it, and the controls you have over it as a BI Specialist, Recruiter or visitor to Chezzz BI Hub.
1. About Chezzz BI Hub and This Policy
Who we are. Chezzz BI Hub (also written as ChezzzBI) is a professional Business Intelligence platform. It helps BI Specialists showcase their work, build reputation, take part in projects, challenges and talent assessments, and connect with recruiters and employers. It also helps recruiters discover analytics talent and run structured hiring tasks.
Our mission. To help analytics professionals gain visibility and opportunities based on demonstrated skill, real work and reputation.
Our values. Trust, transparency, professionalism, opportunity and innovation.
What this policy covers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who may see it, how long we keep it, and the controls you have. It applies when you visit the platform, when you register an account, and when you use platform features.
Different parts of this policy apply depending on what you choose to do. If you only browse public pages, very little applies to you. If you publish a portfolio, enter a challenge, run a talent assessment or use AI features, more of this policy becomes relevant. It is written in simple language so that any user can understand it.
Chezzz BI Hub is not an employer and does not make hiring decisions. We provide the platform on which BI Specialists and recruiters interact.
2. Who Is Responsible for Your Information
Chezzz BI Hub decides how and why the personal information described in this policy is used, and is therefore responsible for it as the data controller for platform activity.
You can reach our privacy team at privacy@chezzzbihub.com or through the Contact Us page. Please use this route for access, correction and deletion requests, for privacy questions and for security concerns.
Recruiters act independently when they decide how to use candidate information for their own recruitment purposes. In those situations the recruiter is responsible for their own use of that information, and you may contact them directly as well as contacting us.

- Operating your professional profile and showing it according to the visibility you choose.
- Enabling recruitment interactions, including discovery, invitations and messages.
- Running challenges, including submissions, deadlines, moderation and winner selection.
- Running talent assessments, including invitations, attempts, answers, scoring and results.
- Providing AI features you choose to use and returning the analysis to you.

- Operating rewards, wallets, credits, payments and withdrawals.
- Preventing fraud, abuse and manipulation, and protecting the platform and its users.
- Investigating reports, complaints and disputes and providing support.
- Sending account, transactional and platform communications.
- Meeting accounting, tax, record-keeping and other legal obligations.
- Keeping the platform reliable and improving how features work.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
5. Our Legal Basis for Using Your Information
Where data protection law such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, we must have a lawful reason for each use of your information. In plain terms, these are the reasons we rely on.

The precise legal basis that applies in a particular country may differ. The final legal wording of this section should be confirmed with a qualified adviser for your jurisdiction.
6. Public Profile Information
Some information is designed to be publicly visible so BI Specialists can be discovered by recruiters and by the wider analytics community.

7. Profile and Portfolio Visibility Settings
Portfolio items support three visibility settings.
- Public — visible to anyone who can see the relevant public pages, including visitors who are not signed in.
- Recruiter Only — visible to recruiter accounts on the platform rather than to the general public.
- Private — kept for your own use and not listed for other users.
Some information is always part of a workflow you have joined. For example, if you submit an entry to a challenge, the owner of that challenge can see your submission even if your wider profile is not public.
8. Analytics Portfolio Gallery
The Analytics Portfolio Gallery is where portfolio work is showcased and discovered. What other people can see there depends entirely on the visibility setting you choose for each item.

13. Private Content and Authorised Review
Private challenges, private assessments and private portfolio items are not treated as ordinary public content. Access to them is limited by the permissions built into the platform, so that only the people involved in that workflow can normally see them.
Specifically authorised Chezzz BI Hub personnel may review private content only where that is reasonably required for a legitimate platform purpose, such as:
- responding to a support request
- moderating reported or suspected harmful content
- protecting user safety
- investigating a complaint or dispute
- investigating fraud, abuse or manipulation
- meeting a legal or compliance requirement
- protecting the integrity and security of the platform
This access is controlled, is limited to the people who need it, requires a recorded reason, and may be logged. Our people do not browse private content freely, and private content is not used for marketing or shared with other users outside the workflow it belongs to.
14. Files You Upload
Depending on the feature you are using, you may upload files such as CVs and résumés, images and screenshots, dashboard exports, presentation slides or images, portfolio and project material, challenge attachments, and files related to an assessment where the feature supports them.
Uploaded content is stored so that the relevant platform feature can work, and is processed only for that feature and for the supporting operations described in this policy, such as security, moderation and support. Files you upload as part of a workflow are visible to the people that workflow is designed for, for example the owner of a challenge you enter.
Please do not upload confidential employer or client material, or the personal information of other people, unless you have the right to do so and the feature genuinely requires it.

Where the platform offers paid plans for BI Specialists or recruiters, we record your plan, its status, the current billing period and the entitlements or allowances that apply to it, so that the correct features and limits are applied to your account. 25. Third-Party Services We Rely On
We rely on trusted service providers to run the platform. They may only process information on our instructions and for the purposes described here.
- Hosting and database infrastructure used to run the application and store data.
- Stripe, which processes payments, subscriptions and payouts.
- Email delivery providers used to send account, notification and platform emails.
- AI and technology providers that carry out processing for our AI features.
- Support and operational tools needed to run and protect the service.
We do not publish internal configuration details for these services. Where a provider handles payment or identity information directly, their own terms and privacy notices also apply to that part of the process.
26. International Processing
Chezzz BI Hub is available internationally, and some of the service providers we rely on operate in countries other than the one you live in. This means your information may be processed outside your own country.
Where information is transferred to another country, we seek appropriate safeguards so that it continues to be protected to a standard consistent with the protection described in this policy, in line with applicable law. The exact transfer mechanisms that apply should be confirmed with a qualified adviser for your jurisdiction.
27. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, and for as long as we need it to meet legitimate legal, accounting, security, dispute and operational requirements. In practice different categories behave differently.

You may also have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority in your country. The specific regulator that applies to you depends on where you live and where we are established.
31. Age Requirement
Chezzz BI Hub is intended for users aged 18 or over. It is not designed for or directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has registered, please contact us so we can investigate and remove the account.
32. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform develops or as legal requirements change. The version and effective date at the top of this page always show the current edition. Where an update is material, we will make users aware of it in a reasonable way. Continued use of the platform after the effective date means the updated policy applies to you.
